When a young dragon named Emma accidentally burns down a barn, she and her mother must flee, again. They escape to a new land, another place to hide, to be alone. For her entire life Emma has been told to stay hidden in the shadows, to keep away from people. That is until Emma meets Sophie, a head-strong pre-teenage princess. When Sophie’s twin brother is kidnapped, there is no stopping the duo from rushing to the rescue. Now this would be easy if Emma were older. As a mature dragon, Emma would be able to fly and breathe fire, but for now, she can only sneeze fire. So the first stop on their quest is to raid the castle larder to procure the kingdom’s entire supply of pepper.
